“The Great Dane combines, in its regal appearance, dignity, strength and elegance with great size and a powerful, well-formed, smoothly muscled body.”*

Lynx is a Great Dane that can! He isn’t just a well-constructed Dane with a Grand Championship in American Kennel Club Conformation, he is a living example of “Function  Follows Form”! He has competed and titled in Over 10 different Performance Sports across multiple dog sport organizations in the United States.

“A Great Dane must be spirited, courageous, never timid; always friendly and dependable.”*

Indeed! Lynx not only has titles/certifications in AKC Canine Good Citizenship (Advanced and Urban) and AKC Farm Dog, but has been tested by the American Temperament Society, and truly passed with flying colors. He has also performed (tricks and photo sessions) in a private setting for a 10-year-old’s birthday party and in a community setting for Canine Stars in southern California. He loves everyone and is a wonderful ambassador of the breed.

Returning to the ring as a Veteran, Lynx has been honored with a Best in Specialty show win, Specialty Award of Merit, a Breed win and a Working Group 2nd placement, and multiple Best of Opposite Sex and Select placements at all-breed shows. He is still out there competing in Performance Sports, with recent titles in Rally Advanced, Scent Work and Shed Dog!

He is truly a one-of-a-kind Great Dane, and we love him with all our hearts.
